[Blaine] What's the secret to taking a great portrait?

[German] Definitely natural light.

Here are 3 reasons why you should use natural light for your Online Dating Photos.

1. It compliments your skin bringing up those natural skin tones on everyone, it doesn't matter if you are a guy or a girl your skin would just glow.

2. Natural light brings up your natural beauty or handsomeness on everyone.

3. The majority of people on dating apps don't like studio photos or photos with flash.

[German] I love this question. I have several locations that I use in Manhattan: TriBeCa, SoHo, and either the East or West Village.

But let me just tell you why I LOVE Tribeca.

Tribeca is the quietest place in the big noisy apple and I always recommend it to my shy clients. I love the vibe, texture, color, and of course the iconic cobble streets.

Brooklyn has also those iconic City views like Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and Williamsburg. You can't go wrong with any of these locations.

Long Island City also has stunning city views that just take your breath away.

[Blaine] What are some of your favorite date spots in and around NYC?

[German] So many good spots but here are my top 3:

1. Bryant Park enjoying the noise of the city or setting by the grass on movie night is just a unique experience

2. I'm from Brooklyn so definitely a walk by the Promenade to keep social distancing. This place was actually where my husband and I went on our third date.

3. And ending at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory or the famous Juliana's Pizza.

[BLAINE] What makes the NYC dating scene unique?

[GERMAN] Dating in NYC is a unique experience itself.

My husband and I used to go on dates before the pandemic, and I remember walking at night and seeing all the night-life that the city brings with people from all over the world!
